The Osmind Mobile App helps keep patients engaged with progress visualization and a trusting community right on their phone. In the mobile app, patients can complete assigned surveys, submit journal entries, and send secure messages to their provider (if enabled by your clinic)!

1) After adding your patient to create their chart
The patient will receive both a text and email inviting them to download and join the app.
The invite email and text patients receive will link them directly to either the iPhone App Store or the Android Google Play Store so they can download the mobile app. An example of the email invite is shown below:
We recommend using the Osmind patient mobile app over the web portal as it is the most up-to-date and robust version of the product—however, if the patient is unable to access the app or would prefer not to download the app, a simplified web version can be accessed from app.osmind.org.
Please be aware that patients who do not utilize the app will miss out on helpful mobile reminders, they really make a difference in keeping patients engaged with their care.
2) Logging into Osmind's Patient App
After downloading the Osmind mobile app, the patient will be routed to Home Page of the app, where they can either "Log In" to an activated account, or click the blue Activate button at the bottom of the screen to activate their account.
For patient's that have not logged into the Osmind Patient/Mobile App before, proceed to step 3 below!
3) Activating a patient's log in
New patients must select "Activate" in the Home page. They must then input their email address then select the "Activate" again at the bottom of the screen.
IMPORTANT: The patient must enter the same email address in Osmind Mobile App that is listed in the Patient Chart—if there are any typos in the email, the patient will not receive the invite.
4) Verifying the patient's email
Once the patient submits their email address in the activation page, they will receive a verification email. The patient must select "Verify Email Address" to navigate back to the Osmind Patient/Mobile app and set their password.
Activation emails are only valid for an hour for security reasons, so if the patient doesn’t get to it in time, they can always trigger a new email from our activation page. The email will be from hello@joinosmind.com, so we recommend adding this to your email contacts to help push the emails directly to your inbox, and out of spam or junk!
5) Setting a password
Once patients validate their email address, they are routed back into the Osmind Mobile app to set a password for their account. There are guidelines to make sure that the password they set is secure per HIPAA security requirements.
Once set, the patient will have access to the Osmind mobile app. Osmind Intake and all surveys enabled by a provider will be available in the Home page for the patient to complete!
Please note that only surveys and Osmind Intake are available in the Osmind Patient/Mobile app. Custom forms are sent separately by email.
